Mental Models, Logical Fallacies, and Bias

Become aware of the tools to use and the tricks we play on ourselves

This session explores mental models and new ways of thinking to improve decision making. In this context, we consider logical fallacies and bias. We go through a variety of logical fallacies and bias which humans are subject to. This exploration is critically important in the age of modern AI. We look at how bias impacts on systems and people, and how managing bias blindspots will benefit business. The logical fallacies are tackled with a view on how these can be used to gain business traction, or how we can use these as frameworks for better decision making while avoiding blind spots.

What clients say

I never got the opportunity to thank you on one of the most amazing thought leadership events I have never attended. As one of the clients mentioned 2019 was incredible but this was next level Adam. Your content was incredible and watching our clients I could see that they were blown away and truly engaged.

Natasha Proksch Brand Manager, Investec Bank

There are moments in life that divide a before and an after. Listening to you today was one of those moments for me. I have attended countless conferences, heard extraordinary minds speak, and yet it had been many years since I felt something move through my entire being the way it did today. It wasn't just the brilliance of your ideas. It was the humanity behind them. ... Today I felt deeply grateful — even blessed — to witness someone who represents what leadership in our time should look like: conscious, ethical, resilient, and profoundly human. ... I believe that when one person evolves, the collective shifts. And today, something shifted in me. Thank you for that.
