This talk offers insight into doing the right thing for organisations seeking to imprint a moral identity. We're in the age of purpose driven business, and differentiation of organisations is happening via this mechanism. Purpose is core to values and identity. The world sees our actions, not our intentions. Over time, other people's model of us shapes our model of ourselves. Therefore, integrity isn't about being good when someone's watching — it's about sculpting who you become through what you do, even in private. Alternate framing: Integrity isn't a virtue you possess — it's a cascade you set in motion. The model of you that lives in others' minds is built entirely from your actions, not your intentions. This creates a closed loop: Actions → Others' model of you → Your model of yourself → Your identity → Your future actions
